Vehicle Detail

Reserve is 1500 1600 Dual port runs good with good power. PO took it to a VW shop to replace fuel injection with carburation in the 90's. Mileage reads 31926. I'm not sure if odometer has rolled or not. Original maintenance booklet and fire extinguisher included, see pic. Solid pans. Am radio works. Seats are in good shape. Carpet is good. Good rims and tires with lots of tread. Heater works. There are many after market trim parts. Sunroof doesn't leak. I drive it and park it in the rain without a problem. I'm including new felt that just needs to be installed. It has new door panels. Tinted windows. Silver repaint over original silver. The only damage I noticed was a dent in the front fender over headlight. Some minor rust spots, chips, and scratches seen in pictures. Most serious rust is drivers side rear below quarter window has some bubbling, see pic. It needs a front end alignment. Glove box needs to be replaced and then reconnect vent hose that goes over the glove box. Horn, vent fan, rear window defrost, and cabin light don't work. PO blew motor and let it sit for 2 years. I put a good motor in. At first the ignition switch had a little corrosion. Now that I've driven it for awhile it starts fine, but sometimes I have to turn the key more than once to engage it. Then it fires right up. Idles and drives good. Stops fine too. I drive it to work daily. On Jul-07-13 at 20:38:20 PDT, seller added the following information: This week the ignition switch stopped engaging until you turned the key about 10 times. I installed a push button just under the key. This way you turn the key to ON and then push the button to engage the starter. Now it engages every single time without fail. The cure for this is a $15 ignition switch.
