Vehicle Detail
Here we have a 1962 Austin Healey BT7. It is currently disassembled with sheetmetal in the vehicle (see pics), the engine on a dolly and the remaining parts palletized. The vehicle is mostly complete. Windshield, seats and interior bits are on the pallet. As are the parts for the disassembled side shift transmission. That having been said you should expect to track down finishing items for this vehicle. Vehicle restoration was started prior to our ownership with the vehicle being disassembled and the engine having been rebuilt. It also comes with the previous owners scrapbook of restoration pics up to the his stopping point. The tri-carb healey was produced for one year only and they are getting harder and harder to find these days. Feel free to e-mail with any questions and as always, an on site inspection of the vehicle is recommended prior to bidding as the vehicle is sold in as-is where-is condition. * Note - We are a restoration shop specializing in British Motorcars from the 50s, 60s and 70s. If you are interested, we can also quote you a finished price on this particular car with your choice of interior and exterior colors as well. Pics includeinterior components (needing refurbishment or replacement, Rear seat upright, windshield frame (glass is cracked) cockpit trim, dash, side curtains (one complete the other missing plexi). Front seats (needing recovering), rear seat pans. Heater and carb heat shield, Side shift trans, bellhousing, overdrive unit. Box of wiring harness and assorted lamp housings. Box of additional take offs like headlight trim rings, scrapped sheetmetal, We have all three carbs and the linkage setup. We also have the speedometer with odometer showing 75142, the dual gauge for water and oil and the fuel gauge, I have not seen the tachometer so assume you will have to source it. Any additional questions, feel free to e-mail me up to auction close. On Jul-06-13 at 14:18:46 PDT, seller added the following information: While cleaning out the box with the wiring harness I located several hinges and other chrome bits. I also found the wiper arms and more lamp housings. Right at the bottom was the tachometer. I pulled out the dual gauge and ran it under hot water. The temp needle moves up as far as my hot water goes (125 deg) so that appears good.
