For Sale 1966 Porsche 912 coupe. Running and driving classic hot rod. Engine is a VW type 2 with dual carbs. Cooling is provided by a custom Gene Berg fiberglass shroud with vertical 911 fan housing. Transmission is original 4 speed. Chassis is very rustfree and solid. Panel fit of doors and fenders is very good but not perfect. Original color is Polo Red according to the paint tag in door jamb. Vintage style roll bar. All VIN tags and stampings are intact and correct. The car runs well but still needs some minor TLC to be a daily driver. Please feel free to ask many questions if interested. On Jul-01-13 at 08:37:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I looked at many early cars and this one had a super solid base. The engine runs well and does not smoke. I ended up buying a bare tub to use as my basis for a hot rod 911. The inner structures show no signs of prior crash damage. The paint job is good but is not perfectly blocked out so shows some ripples in the doors. The door gaps are good but not concours. There are no signs of any rust holes anywhere on the car. This car came from a dealer and I didn't get any paperwork other than the title. I have it registered in my name and can transfer the title easily to the new owner.
