Up For Sale is my Lotus Elise which I absolutely love to death, it was always my dream car- but I just never drive it, and hate to see it sit there and gather dust. So I want it to go to someone who will give it the attention it needs. It a crazy head turning car- everyone always stops and asks questions about it since they are so rare and look amazing. I purchased the car in 2012 as a consignment at a small dealer. The car originally belonged to a well- known doctor who I was told also never used the car (hence the low miles) and wanted to trade up. I seized the deal and unfortunately for the car, it has mostly just sat in my garage. When I purchased the car it had around 10800 miles on it and the car now has 11544. The car runs awesome – never had any accidents and no engine issues (and no track time), and was always garage kept by the previous owner and myself. I switched out the car Stereo for a Sony unit that has an external USB port and internal IPOD tray. The speakers are Polk Audio and the original size of the old speakers. No alterations where done to the Speaker housing. I put a compact SUB/Amp combo in the tray area behind the Seats and it adds a lot to the sound overall. The car has brand new Rear tires and the front still have tons of tread. The car has both hard and soft tops. The car has the touring package with starshield, leather seats, alloy wheels, floor mats and additional sound dampening. The only issue the car has is that the Windows of the car need adjustment. The passenger and drivers side stop about a quarter of an inch from the top (I read you can adjust a screw to fix it- didn’t try it). The driver’s side window is half up right now but does not go down. The motor in the window works but I removed the door panel to inspect it and found that the wire that pulls the window up and down is messed up, so it will need repair. It stays up fine when driving and doesn’t fall down or anything silly like that.
