This is a true find. Exceptional Clean Well Maintained XJS. This car was rated as one of the "100 Hottest Cars Ever Made" by Popular Mechanics.
23 years old, and headed to collectable status. This V-12 has everything Jaguar is known for-- luxury, fun, good handling and a great driving experience. There aren't too many of these cars available with this low of mileage and in this original of condition. These cars were hand build in England, and stand the test of time in luxurious looks and performance.
This Jaguar is equipped with its original V-12 engine with only 46,200 miles on it. This car has been well cared for and preserved for its future as a fun and exciting collectible. The car has been converted to R-134a air conditioning coolant for easy servicing (only thing non-original that we can find on the car). It also has had it's 40,000 mile servicing, including plugs and other goodies. The top was replaced within the last few thousand miles and is in amazing condition. The car comes with receipts for these recent services. Its ready to roll to your next cruise night or for that Sunday joy ride.
The car comes with a custom car cover, matching tonneau cover for when the top's down (and carrying case), original jack set with color matching case, extra set of color correct floor mats, original owner's manual and owner's guide cassette tape, original set of keys (two master ignition keys and one door lock),
The only issues we find with this car is that it is a 23 year old Jaguar. It is exceptionally clean and has been well maintained. It runs like every other 20 + year old Jag we've driven (i.e. a little more finicky then a modern 2013 car). The car's paint is in good shape, but does have some minor blemishes-- we could call the car a "2 footer", meaning, unless you are right on top of the car in the bright sunlight, you will not see a majority of the minor blemishes. However, we do want to disclose this fact--- it is an all original car, with what appears to be its original paint, so there are some blemishes-- it looks like most of them are lingering water marks or minor fine scratches from sitting with a car cover on it for years. But-- unless you're looking for them, you won't see them. Its a very beautiful car!
