Vehicle Detail

This Jeep was purchased from an insurance company after a rollover, therefore it has a rebuilt title. The dents and dings have been left in anticipation of frequent trail rides. Previously damaged parts include the hood, fenders, windshield frame, door frames and some dents on the body tub. None affect safety or performance. The windshield was replaced the subsequently broken by contact with a tree branch. The body has rock rails, steel plate corner protectors, round LED taillights and mirror relocation brackets. The motor is a 6.0L Chevrolet from a 2002 truck with less than 50,000 miles. The wiring harness and ECM were professionally reworked. It also has a new aluminum radiator that works very well. The transmission is a NV4500 5-speed from a 2002 Chevrolet truck. There is a slight grind shifting into 3rd so the synchronizer will have to be replaced eventually. The clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and hydraulic bearing are all brand new. I used a Novak adapter to bolt up a Dana 300 gear-drive transfer case. The front axle is a Dana 44 from a Scout and was completely rebuilt. It is open and has 3:54 gears. The rear axle is also a Dana 44, open and 3:54 gears and has been equipped with disc brakes and E brakes. The wheels are 10" steel and the spare does not match. The tires are 35X12.50s. The soft top has a rip in the seem over the roll bar about 6" long and the back window was rendered inoperable by the previous owner due to zipper problems. I almost finished this Jeep before going overseas last summer. I was trying to use the OE gauges but was having a difficult time. I would recommend the new owner use all aftermarket gauges set in a new cluster. Currently the only operable gauges are the mechanical water and oil pressure gauges I added. Deployment within the month makes me have to sell this Jeep. I have enjoyed the power and ride immensely for this short period of time, but it is impractical for me to keep this extra vehicle around. I built this Jeep to keep for myself so I used the best parts I could afford. If you want to arrange a personal inspection, please send me a question. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!
