Up for sale is my 1984 Suzuki GS1150E I have owned this bike for over 20 years, never dropped. Bike is in great condition. Classic mid 80's Japanese motorcycle. In 1984, this was the fastest production motorcycle in the world. This bike and this engine were the preferred choice for drag racing. Just won 1st place for its category [sports bike] at a car and bike show and shine. Beat out a Harley V-Rod. Very nice condition.84000+ km’s, New clutch recently, brakes are good, tires almost new.In British Columbia this bike qualifies for "collector insurance", has a collector plate on it so insurance is only $205 Canadian per year. From the internet:”Suzuki only had 8 machines in their 1984 lineup, with only 3 being street bikes. The big news at the press launch was the GS1150E. The enlarged engine (from the GS1100's) was placed in an all new chassis, with square tube steel frame and single shock full floater rear suspension. In 1984 the GS1150ES was the fastest production motorcycle available. The 1150 didn't need any tricks to attain such figures... the power was spread all the way across the range, and was very easy to utilize. New brakes, wheels and tires were also fitted. The GS1150 was a large, long and heavy motorcycle. Power in 1984 was 119bhp@8500rpm, with torque of 81ft/lb's@6500rpm.
