Up for auction is this 1982 Honda CB900F in original, unrestored condition. The bike has been well maintained and cared for throughout its life and it shows. It is owned by a Honda shop manager with 40 years experience who knows these bikes well. Last year it was treated to a new starter clutch, chain, modern Bridgestone tires, fork seals, valve cover gaskets/buttons, and a MAC 4 into 2 exhaust. Service work includes rebuilt calipers, carbs cleaned and synched, valves adjusted, cam chains adjusted, and full tune up. The inside of the gas tank is clean and unlined. Cosmetically the bike has nice original paint and no cracked plastic; there are no tears in the seat cover. The gauges are clear and bright. Everything on the bike works as it should and it runs, handles, and steers excellent. This is a period high performance bike that you can ride and enjoy, everything has been done. Other than a little fading on one of the tank decals and some scuffs from a tank bag and back rest, its hard to find fault with this appreciating classic. As you can see by the pictures, I don't own junk motorcycles. I grew up riding and working on these bikes back in the 60's and enjoy using and preserving them for future generations. I have been an active member on EBay for over a dozen years and have never had a bad experience buying or selling and aim to keep it that way. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer; it can be picked up at the Honda dealer during regular business hours or at home on weekends.
