What a gem of a car.... Listed here is a very clean and reliable 1960 Corvette convertible with a 1962 Corvette 327 This car was purchase from an older gentleman who recently found out he has a terminal illness, and wanted to give it a good home. He purchased the car in 1981 and it hasn't been driven much since then, storing it in his barn along with some other oldies. After purchasing the car from him, we had to do a few things to it to get it road worthy. We replaced the factory carburetor with a new Edelbrock 4 barrell carb. with an electric choke. Next we replaced the hood cables, due to the originals being frozen. Most of the gauges were inop except for the speedometer and odometer, so we had all the wiring to the gauges repaired. The exhaust was in rough shape so we replaced the mufflers and had the pipes ran through the rear bumper like it should be. It still has the original 4 wheel drum brake system, which we had dis-assembled and cleaned. We also had gave the engine a tune-up as well as having the valves adjusted. It also has new tires. It is an amazing car for being stored for so long, and could very easily be a daily driver for someone. The frame and floors are both solid. The exterior is in good shape, having an older paint job from the 70's. It is by no means a show car, but presents itself well. There are a few paint chips here and there as well as having some previous fiberglass repair on both front wheel wells. The windshield also has some repair work along the top molding, but does not leak. The soft top is in good condition, as well as the hard top. The passenger window in finicky sometimes and wont roll down. The interior is in good shape, and also presents itself well. The seats don't have any tears, and everything is pretty much in tact. Its an original interior though so it does show its age. The floors are solid, and the carpet is in good shape. The odometer reads 19000, I would assume the car has 119000 on it. We don't know any of the car's history before the previous owner, but I will try to answer any questions that I can. Thank you for looking!
