Rare Karmann built cabriolet featured in Excellence Magazine in May, 2005. Originally built as a convertible and ordered to be changed to a hardtop by Porsche before it left the factory. Restored to original cabriolet condition by restorer who absolutely refused to take any shortcuts. Total flawless restoration with matching numbers, and engine rebuild by Billy McNair of European Performance fame. New Mahle pistons, 912 camshaft, aluminum oil cooler, 12 volt electrical system conversion, new clutch and and rebuilt brakes. With Porsche toolkit, boot cover and Nardi steering wheel, this vehicle is ready for show and for driving under any condition.
