Vehicle Detail
This is a 1999 Dakota R/T with less than 60k miles. It has been babied and tinkered with for the last 10 years. Never smoked in, nothing spilled in it, kept garaged any time it would sit for long periods. This truck is heavily customized. I would love to keep it and continue to build it up, but I've been injured and just don't have the time or garage space for it anymore. Hopefully you can give it a good home. Below, I will list the modifications I can think of, as well as the original prices on the receipts, which I've kept for almost everything. Most of the custom engine and suspension work was done by Meridian Performance Service and Cascade Performance in Bellingham, WA. Feel free to ask about anything. SUSPENSION: Full, Custom Air Ride SetupSlam Specialties Air Springs - $600Air Ride– Big Red MAX kit with 2 pumps, 2 tanks, 1/2" lines & analog gauges – $1,883Air Ride Parallel 4-Link With Panhard Bar- $500Dakota Digital Auto-Height Management with Remote - $950DJM Tubular Lower Control Arms - $350Adjustable QA1 Shocks (Rear Only) PERFORMANCEGSM Tubular Headers with Cermachrome Coating - $500 Fully Welded 3" Side-Exit ExhaustCatco ConverterHooker Muffler (Sounds Amazing)M-1 Intake Manifold with Turtle (Not Installed) - $150 K&N FIPK Air Intake - $325Brand New GMB Water PumpYokohama AVS Sport Tires INTERIORCerullo Custom Leather Front Seats - $1,200 Cerullo Custom Upholstered Rear Seats - $750The backrest is custom fit for the JL 100/1 ampSchroth 4-Point Harnesses - $200 AUDIOPioneer Head UnitEclipse EA3422 amp for mids/tweets - $235JL Audio 1000/1 Amp for Subs - $1,100Alpine Type R Mids/Tweets - $250Satellite Radio ReceiverAll Monster Brand CableFully Dynamatted CabinStinger 3-Farad Capacitor $3502 Audiobahn AWP310T Subwoofers - $400Custom Fiberglass and Plexiglas Sub Box (For Under Rear Seat) OTHERLine-X Bed Liner and Door-Jam Coating - $700 A.R.E. The next owner may want to put some attention into the following areas: SUSPENSIONIf you want shocks and a sway-bar on the front-end you will need to get the mounts and cram everything in there. I used this truck for cruising around town and didn't need them, but if you plan on going fast, you'll want them. I can supply the sway bars that were taken off.Installing shocks slows down the "raise" and "lower" speed of an air-ride systemInstalling sway-bars greatly limits your ability to do side-to-side motion INTERIORThe plastic cover plate that holds the switches for the drivers-side power seat is not installed. I had planned to make a nice looking aluminum one, but just never got to it. I will include the plastic one with the truck AUDIOThe Audiobahn subwoofers were a little deep for the box, so I made a spacer ring for them. It works great but I never used the back seats. if you want the back seats to fold down on top of the box like the original; tool box, you will need to make some spacers for the seat bracket or get some shallower subs. Right now the subwoofer box is removed and the seats are installed, as shown in the pictures. That's it. This is just a fun, cool truck that looks and runs awesome. I hate to be getting rid of it, especially feeling like it needs some attention, but it's got to go. Blue Book for this truck STOCK with 60k miles in good condition is over $8000. With all of this work and modification, I'm setting the reserve lower than that. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
