For sale is a 1996 Ford F250 Crew Cab XLT 4x4 with only 84,271 miles on it! We are a Ford dealer who took this truck in on trade. We do not retail vehicles of this age due to Lender stipulations. This is too nice of a truck to wholesale! I do not know a whole bunch about this truck, but I will tell you what I do know. The truck has a clean title, clean carfax, and the miles are original miles. The truck drives good, the motor is strong. It is a 7.5l (460) with a 3.55 limited slip rear end. The transmission is shifting well and for the size of the aftermarket wheels and tires it drives pretty smooth. I hear a slight exhaust or manifold leak, but common for rigs of this year and type.This truck had one owner until very recently. Carfax shows it was a 2 owner truck.The truck looks awesome for a truck this age! It is really a very nice clean truck. The black paint has held up very well. There are a couple tiny dings and scratches on the truck, but the paint and body looks better than someting much much newer. There is a tiny bit of surface bubbling on the extreme right lower side of the tailgate. I took a picture and enclosed it with a red circle around it. It is maybe the size of half of a dollar bill. I could not find any other signs of rust. Underneathe the vehicle looks very clean. It appears to have been undercoated at one time. There is a small burnhole in the headliner- about half of the size of a penny. I took a picture of this and circled it in red as well. The truck does NOT smell like smoke. The wheels and tires are amazing. They were put on in the last year, and I know they were not cheap! The 4 wheel drive works as does the heater. The air blows cold and all of the locks and power windows work as well. The tailgate opens very easily as does the hood. Both line up and function well. Truck is also equipped with a trailer brake controller, dual gas tanks, and a extra heavy duty bumper. The truck not only drives well, but has a lot of curb appeal. The interior is in very good shape. It is clean and not worn. This vehicle will be sold 'as is' 'where is'! You will be responsible for picking the truck up or for shipping it. He loved this truck- He only traded it because his wife really wanted a New Ford Escape and he basically had to do trade to make this happen. If we only sell this truck for what I have it listed for-someone is gonna steal themselves a truck! I started the bidding at what a local wholesaler bid for the rig.
