Vehicle Detail

Beautiful, Award-Winning, 1935 Ford Five Window Coupe. See MANY MORE PHOTOS at: Same meticulous owner since 1988. Impeccably maintained for 25 years. Full, complete professional restoration from the ground up from 1988 - early 1990's. Always garaged when not at car shows winning awards. Nearly all original with some slight upgrades. A real head-turner and has won hundreds of trophies taking first, second and third place status as well as best-of-shows. Please see the photos of the trophies that were all won by this vehicle. Nearly a 25-year run of being a show car and was driven to every one of the shows. The coupe will continue to win awards. This car is outstanding in every way and drives extremely smooth. Body: Complete professional body restoration. No plastic fill. The paint is a mirror-like, gloss, deep black finish. No swirl marks of any kind. Please see closeup photos of the absolute stunning gloss finish. Running boards are never stepped on. Chrome bumpers and accents are beautiful. Engine: Throaty, flathead V-8 59 AB engine. Completely rebuilt and restored by Motorcity Flathead. This engine is a 1947 of the exact same model as the 1935. The differences between a 1935 flathead and a 1947 flathead are extremely minimal. Unless you were around in the 1930s, you won't notice the minor differences. As mentioned, this auto has taken first place awards many times in the "original" categories. Please see pics on the detail and impeccable finish on this motor. Purrs and runs like a dream. Transmission:3-speed manual. Miles: 84,XXX in 1988. The engine was restored in the same year. The odometer currently reads 07080. Hence there are approximately only 23K miles since restoration. Glass/Windows:Perfect window glass. No imperfections/scratches/cracks of any kind. Interior:The interior is an elegant dark gray. Matching gray gloss dash. Very clean with no tears or rips of any kind. Featured is a two-tone gray carpet/fabric. Please see photos for these areas as there is a slight difference in color (trunk lid, floor carpet). These small carpeted areas could be easily replaced if desired. No stains of any kind. Note: The gas gauge is not currently working. Undercarriage:Great condition. Extremely clean. Please see photos for detail. Upgrades/Alterations:As mentioned, the engine is a 1947 of the same original 59 AB 1935 motor. Hydraulic brakes have been installed. The top roof window was filled in years ago — no sign the opening was even there. Front and rear running lights were added for additional detail. The original horns were moved into the engine compartment. An electric fuel pump was added with toggle switch under the dash. Additional temperature gauges have been added under the dash as well. A few indicator lights for directional signals are on the dash. The upgrades have never been a hindrance to winning hundreds of trophies taking first, second and third place status as well as best-of-shows. Note: I am selling this beautiful car for my father. As far as I am aware, except where mentioned, everything on the vehicle is functional. I have represented the description to the best of my ability. Car is sold AS-IS with no warranties.
