Vehicle Detail
This is Art Deco at its finest. Very rare 2 door fast back with Dynaflow transmission. I havent seen another one like this anywhere including an extensive search of the internet. You will occasionally find the 2 door out there but not with the dynaflow. This was the first year that they offered it and the only ones I have seen them in were the 4 door version. The car is an older restoration and is ready for someone to either restore it or make a sled head out of it. I recently had the oil changed and the brake cylinders replaced. The tires are very good. The gas tank does need to be cleaned. The paint on it is starting to peel. The interior was re-done in crushed velour and looks good if you think crushed velour looks good! The engine runs but lacks power. Not sure if its the carb or the head needs to be re-done. The car is complete! I even have a few extra trim pieces a radiator and a custom tow hitch in case you wanted to pull your old air stream or tear drop trailer around with you once you re-stored this beautiful car. I have the vehicle for sale locally and reserve the right to sale it as such. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, however I will help out anyway that I can. PAYMENT: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is to be made within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remaining balance is to be made within 7 days. On May-31-13 at 18:43:41 PDT, seller added the following information: The mileage on the odometer differs from what is listed in the ad. The odometer reads 20,000 something. I have had a couple people interested in exporting the car out of the US and in the process of answering some of their questions I discovered a problem with the title on this car. It was last registered in Nebraska. The title has a different vin # on it and after doing a little research I found that some states use the number on the engine block, as the vin number on the title. I contacted my local Department of Motor vehicles and they gave me the necessary paperwork to title the vehicle with the vin number on the body. This process requires an appointment with a Department of Motor Vehicle enforcement officer to visually inspect the car and may take up to 3 weeks time. It is possible for it to take only 2 weeks. If the vehicle does not meet the reserve I will wait for the title to come and then re-list it. Here are the REVISED PAYMENT TERMS! A $500 non-refundable deposit will be made within 48 hours of the end of the auction via pay pal. The remaining balance will be made once the title is received by me and the buyer is notified.
