1974 Ford Courier -- 55k Original Miles! This is probably one of the nicest Ford Couriers in existence -- original paint, original interior and even the original window sticker. Just 55k original miles (look at the pictures below -- you won't be disappointed). It runs and drive exceptionally well and everything works (from the radio to the backup lights).  Granted, it's a simple truck -- manual choke, no power anything (and you even have to switch the hot air intake valve on the air cleaner once the temp drops below 50F) -- but this truck will never strand you out in the middle of nowhere because of computer failure.   This is a NO RESERVE auction so happy bidding! MECHANICAL First and foremost, this truck runs and drives like new -- starts quick, runs strong, and no strange noises from anywhere in the drivetrain.  NO LEAKS!  This truck does not drip a single drop of anything on the driveway! Truck stays cool on the hottest of days (it was almost 100 today and it will idle in traffic all day long without going beyond the halfway point on the gauge). Clutch engagement is smooth with no shuddering -- u-joints are tight and the center carrier bearing is in good shape. Steering is tight and the truck does not wander at all. Brakes are firm and stop the truck well.  Here's an overview of the new stuff: New Tires (~500 miles) New Upper Ball Joints Just Aligned Rebuilt Wheel Cylinders (8 of them -- two per drum) New Sway Bar Bushings and Links BODY This is a nearly 100% original paint truck -- the ONLY exception is the inside of the bed where the previous owner tried to cover up some surface rust with the wrong color yellow in a couple spots. All body surfaces outside of the bed are original.  It's exceptionally straight and clearly was never used to haul much of anything. There are a few nicks here and there -- the pictures show well all of the imperfections. There are a couple small hail dimples in the hood -- so slight that you really have to look at the pictures to see them.  The only significant rust is a small two inch long section near the seal of the windshield on the driver's side.  I've treated the rust with naval jelly, but look at the pictures and you can see it just peeking around the seal. The truck is as water tight as you would expect (a couple drips make it through the driver and passenger windows if you powerwash it). Underneath, the pans and frame are rock solid (again, see the pictures). ELECTRICAL All electrics work -- radio, wipers, cigarette lighter, heater fan, all lights (including side lights and reverse lights). Points have recently been dressed (didn't need to be replaced) and the coil is new. Wiring is in great shape with no deterioration or modification. INTERIOR The interior is in excellent condition for its age.  The seat has a couple of tears near the center of the bottom bench which I'm assuming is the result of an aftermarket center console of some sort (since the driver and passenger spots are in such excellent shape). The gauges are clear and all work and the lower metal part of the dash is flawless (as is the glove compartment). The dash pad has deteriorated around the center speaker (cracked and the speaker grill crumbled) but there is a nice cover over it. If you have any questions, don't hesitate in contacting me!
