Here for sale is a nice, rust free, dealer maintained, 1992 Ford Mustang LX Sedan, or commonly known as a Notchback, 2.3 4 cylinder Automatic This is a nice little car, it can be registered in most States as historic, classic, antique, in Maryland is is HISTORIC This car has no rust, undercarriage is clean, it does run and drive, but will need towed to get it home until a very simple, minor repair can be done Car has a clean interior, all options function as they should except the electric trunk pop, engine RPM gauge seems to be off, but does not affect drive-ability The car shifts as it should, has new belts, good tires, brakes work well, I personally drove this car to test it out and see if anything or what needed attention, at a rate The motor runs well, quiet, smooth, AC was just charged, R-12, however it will not maintain good oil pressure when it gets to operating temperature, or driving up a hill The oil pressure is fine at idle, and when you rev the motor sitting still, but once you put it in gear and start to accelerate, the oil pressure gauge start to fall We have looked into this issue, and it seems to be the pick up on the oil pump is clogged, or the oil pump is starting to fail The oil pump assembly new is not expensive, this is a cheap fix, but the motor will have to come out or be raised enough for the oil pan to clear the cross member This would be a great first car for someone lucky, these are getting very hard to find in 4 cylinders anymore, they actually are becoming collectibles This would also make a great starter, solid rust free platform for a V8 Swap, 5 Speed Swap, drag car, closed SCCA track car, Autocross Car Doing a V8 swap is not difficult for these, there has been so many of them done, that there is tons of aftermarket suppliers offering adapters and parts to make it easy I have even seen people swapping in a LS V8 Aluminum Chevy 6.0 motor in these, and let me tell you something, very fast The motor issue can be fixed by anyone who knows how to operate hand tools, pretty self explanatory procedure, great father-son project here We are a used car dealer, private seller, and do issue Maryland Temp tags on site, car will have to be tagged and insured to leave or property If you cant make it in person do to the new title and tag assignment, the paperwork will be sent over nite, or next day for the purchaser to sign and fill out, and placed in a paid envelope and sent back to us completed Payment will need to be paid thru PayPal, a non refundable deposit of 200.00 will need paid at end of auction, and payment in full must be completed 5 days after the end of the auction Car can be picked up locally in Frederick Maryland, 21704, or can be shipped by the BUYER, we are not responsible for storage or transporting it, or getting a shipper to get it for you The transportation is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, car can remain on our property 15 days after the final transaction is done, on the 16th day, storage fees will occur at a rate of 54 dollars a day All fees will apply to purchasing a used car, tax, title, tags, as stated by Maryland Law, even if your a out of state buyer Buyer must provide a valid Insurance Policy with policy number, car will be issued a temporary registration and a temporary tag, does not matter if you are in state or out of state, or having the vehicle shipped to you by your carrier, it must be registered and tagged before it can leave our property, as stated by Maryland Law for Used Car Dealers The fees for a Historic Temporary Maryland tag is cheap, and gives 30 days, after 30 days it expires and you dont have to renew it, this way the car can be parked at a garage for the work to be done, or a house, apartment, a public street If there is any questions, please leave a detailed MESSAGE here on Ebay, I have a difficult time getting to a phone during the daylight working hours, written messages are best The Mustang can be view and looked at in Frederick Maryland, 21704 Car is located at: Stup's Auto Center 8052 Ball Rd Frederick Maryland, 21704 Check out my other listings Thanks for looking On May-16-13 at 00:34:01 PDT, seller added the following information: FREE!
