I would drive this anywhere! This is 37 years old, it's not perfect but everything is there and working and has been very reliable. This vehicle is from Idaho where the roads are not salted and there is no humidity which makes this a hard vehicle to find for its condition. I tried to show the the worst of it as bright and big as possible, but overall driving it is the best experience. Any questions, please email me or you can call 208-590-3602. happy bidding, good luck!On May-11-13 at 12:31:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I SELL ONLY IN THE UNITED STATES!! The winning bidder has 48 hours of auction end to pay by paypal, and come to pick up or drive home, or shipping arrangements within 10 days!On May-11-13 at 15:07:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Gets up to 75 mph comfortably!!!On May-11-13 at 15:22:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Repairs: (Not Addressed) "few small dents($100-$200), rear main seal oil leak ($100-$500), floor pan driver side eating away ($50-$300)."Also comes with two extra glass frames for the hardtop, recently rubberized black paint was used over the rusted floor panels (still noticeable for repairing) but overall looks great (not seen in pictures), hazard lights work, speedometer works, odometer works, the oil pressure gauge has stopped working along with the temperature gauge, new wiper blades installed, break lights work, low/high beams work, 4WD high/low work great! This Scout is a tank and will crawl and climb anywhere I have taken it! It has been inspected and the major issues as noted above are all that will need to be fixed if you really want it done, however they aren't huge issues and I would keep driving it the way it sits for years! The paint is great except for the hood which is chipping and a few dents on the body and a few scratches. Tires have a quarter of a nickel of tread left ( depending on how much it is driven until needing replacing ). Please contact me for any other questions or concerns, I am being as honest as I can be about my rig that I love so much, I want to find it a good home. On May-14-13 at 06:28:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Does this car have power steering or power brakes? any mechanical work done recently to truck? Yes there are power brakes and power steering, only mechanic work done was adjusting power steering belt, works great! -SellerOn May-14-13 at 15:35:58 PDT, seller added the following information: STEAL OF A DEAL!!!Very Rare Traveler up for sale. These longer wheelbase Scouts (118") rarely come up for sale and there was a most recent restored Traveler that was listed on ebay between $15k and $17k. The Traveler was the only produced between 1976 and 1980 and was the only International model to win the prestigious 4x4 of the year award. Not only are the very stable on the trail but the top comes off and makes one of the coolest convertible trucks around. International only produced ~31k models in 1976 but most of those we're the smaller Scout II's.
