1940 Buick Super , Very low mileage nice cruiser. The Buick is a daily driver and drives great, the car has a rebuilt straight 8 engine, and 3 speed transmission, according to the last owner it had a new clutch , brakes, and engine about 1500 miles ago,the odometer reads 60670 since new, this is validated by the service sticker. Chrome is nice, shiny , showing its age. Body is solid, no rust, one small (1.5 inch) ding in rear fender near bumper. glass stock. Seats, carpet, headliner nice and redone previously . Paint is OK. ( looks great from 10 feet) , stock electrical system 6 volt. starts fine. tires good. this car has been requested for shows as its one of the best examples of 1940 automobiles out there.One of the best 1940 sedans on the west coast in stock condition. we have made several 100+ mile trips with the car with no problems and take it out about once a week for some fun cruising, always gets positive comments when we stop.This was appraised about 3 years ago for over 14K . own a piece of automotive history that is a very rare, nice driver . This car has been used as a backdrop for several Victorian Home presentations in the historic Napa Valley for the past three years . this is being sold as I have too many cars and several projects, My wife would rather we keep it as its the best riding automobile that I own , including the newer cars.
