This is an original ( not clone ) 1970 cobra jet torino. I have owned it for the last 18 years. When I bought it, it did not have the original motor or hood. I bought a ram air hood , air cleaner assembly and rear louvers. I built a 429 cu in. engine and mated it to the original 4 speed close ratio toploader transmission. The car originally came with a bench seat up front but had been changed to buckets with a correct console. The car was painted 17 years ago and now shows some signs of it's age. The car runs, drives and stops great! It has always been kept in heated garage and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. This not a hacked up piece, it truly has potential to be a real classic. I do have an original 429 CJ engine that can be purchased with the car at an additional price. ( needs rebuilt ). I have the car for sale locally, so I have the right to end this auction early. Buying this car through e-bay is an contractual agreement to purchase the car not the right to negotiate a price at the time of pick-up I have made every effort to describe the car as accurately as I can.
