This 2001 BMW 540i is a great car, I've owned it for 3 years and keep it in great shape with service and oil changes. I have kept all the records and you can contact BMW of Reading, or Dubbles German Motors located in Leesport, PA who have serviced this BMW for any questions. This isn't the classic BMW (break my wallet) as I have updated and upgraded everything for the higher mileage (new MAS Filter, O2 Sensors, Intake Filters) There are no mechanical flaws in the engine or transmission. She still is a real peppy car and drives beautifully - a real pleasure to drive. Inspected until 3/2014. Rated at 284 HP this car has great power to keep driving fun but in a sophisticated driving experience surrounded in a purely luxury appointed environment. Note: There is one flaw with this BMW, and that is in the truck area. There is some paint bubbling which can easily be fixed. I have include a close up picture to show this. You can hardly see it but it was important I point it out. I just did not have the time to fix it.
