I am the 2nd Owner. I bought it as a Certified BMW in 2007. I have maintained the car frequently at both BMW and Fairfield Motor Works in CT. The exterior and interior are in excellent condition. I used this car to commute from CT to Manhattan almost daily, and on several trips to Miami from CT. Most recently, the car was serviced and some front end components were changed. The oil changes have always been maintained. The car runs and drives smooth and great. It has lots of acceleration while maintaining luxury comfort. It is full loaded with NAV and Heated Seats. There are 2 known conditions I will disclose. The most major is that after running a while, the exhaust emits a white smoke. I am told that this is due to worn valve seats and to fix this, the heads need to be rebuilt. Due to this, the car will burn about a quart of oil per week. The other problem is that the auto trunk feature does not close the trunk. I'm not certain what this requires as it just started to do this about 2 weeks ago after the service. As I was closing the trunk while the auto close was on, it must have caused a problem to whatever mechanism performs the task. Other than the white smoke, the car is amazing. I have reduced the price to accommodate the repair. If you are mechanically inclined then it is a great buy at this price. The car is still financed thru BMW and the balance is less than the asking price. I will make arrangements with BMW to pay off the loan and get the title, or enable the buyer to do this, whatever is the preferred method. I spoke with them briefly and they can accommodate the buyer either way to finalize the payoff of the loan and put the title directly to the new buyer, so they say. Please ask any questions. Also, the mileage I posted was a guestimate. I will revise and post the actual mileage tomorrow when I arrive at my office where the car is parked. It is registered and I use it almost daily for work. I no longer commute to New York so the mileage will not increase too much prior to a sale. The car will come with the title and one key. I lost the 2nd key and a spare costs in the range of $300 from BMW. I will also provide the maintenance records. I recall that it had a new water pump installed in 2011 and some other electronic components. I added a 2012 version to the GPS map so it has updated info for that. I have the original owners manual/book and that is included. I believe it has a full spare too but cannot recall as I have quite a few cars. There are even heated rear seats. It's a very roomy car and has a lot of trunk space. Great ride and a classic look. Great for business people who want travel space and elegance.
