Vehicle Detail
1968 baracuda, i think 1970 383 that looks to be rebuilt, runs strong. has 727 auto trans with manual reverse valve body, shifts firm, no slip,8 3/4 rear w 4.11 or 4.56 gears, manual front disks and manual steering. new on car, windshield, calipers, master cylinder, front brake lines, altinator, voltage regulator, most of interior looks replaced, head liner, carpet, dash pad, front seats, door pnl's. couple small holes poked in front seat do to maybe screwdriver in someone's pocket ?? car has electrionic ignition, newer gas tank, elec fuel pump, larger radiator, batt mover to trunk, holly street dominator intake and holly 600 cfm double pumper. the guy who put together put a lot of good parts in but never quite finished, few screws missing here and there, glue the carpet a coup places, etc. the body is very straight and the most rust free mopar i have come across. was under coated well that helped, all orginal sheet metal, great trunk, floors, etc. the only rust spot i could find was a dime size bubble on lower right quarter at very bottom. looks to be a home paint job but looks good at about 5 ft but some dirt in hood paint, peeling a little on one of the door jams and on the roof drip rail, some cracks in paint on rear pnl between tail lights. i had some matching touch up spray cans, 2ea made up, would be easy to touch up those areas. was a color change, orginal was green, the guy did a pretty good job. there is a crack in the right rear sail pnl paint, i think there is a seam there, may have had some repair at some point? there is no fender tag, was 318 car, manual shift, clutch pedal still in the car if you want'ed to convert. the factory tac doesnt work well with the electronic ignition, speedo way off due to not changing when rear was changed. there is header leak on one side, gasket ?, the trans pan leaks, have 25.00 mopar super gasket but have not put in because i was going to take out the manual body and or convert to 4 speed. parts i will include in sale, parts i was going to put on as follows, 850.00 new borgson power steering conversion, much needed, new saginaw pump, brackets, pully, everthing needed except hoses and the belt i think, also aprox 1969 a833 4 speed, guy i got from said it was good and just had to put gaskets in it, a shifter, misc linkage, bell housing. had a lot of good ideas but never got to them, pictures should have been better but was snowing the day i took and could not get the car out. selling due to buying a 71 454 chevelle that i will waste money on now, you know how that goes.. the car is not a formula s baracuda but look a lot like it.On Apr-29-13 at 13:09:25 PDT, seller added the following information: reserve is off at 7060.00
