This is my personal vehicle. It is a 1996 4 door Suzuki sidekick JX with the 1.6 liter 16 valve SOHC motor, 4 speed automatic with 4x4 lockouts up front. The motor has less than 10,000 miles on it and the transmission was just changed for a low mileage unit. The body has 177000 original miles on it . To my knowledge I am the 3rd owner. This vehicle is sound an has no rust with minimal body dings and dents. There is minimal damage from a blown tire to the plastic rear bumper which can easily be changed or left as it is not really noticeable, and a spot on the rear passenger door where a previous owner had something pierce the door. I have closed the hole and it too is not noticeable unless looking close. The interior is in very good shape with no tears. The carpet could use some TLC or change it out, but other than the drivers side it is in good shape with only one hole in it. Don't get me wrong it is an exceptional little vehicle I am just trying to be very clear and honest about all little quirks. The tires are good for a time, but too are in need of replacing. I am selling the vehicle as I have found and purchased another and am not in need of this one. I am one guy driving a 4 door with no one to sit in the other 4 seats. The vehicle drives and shifts great with good economy. It has cruise control, but it is not working and has not since I've owned it. I have not attempted to repair it as i do not need it driving to and from work about 5 miles every day. The 4 wheel drive does work and I have used it in the winter. Hope this answers all questions and good luck bidding you will be getting a good vehicle. As usual transport or pickup is the buyers responsibility and yes you can drive it home. I would not hesitate to drive it to California and back! I am relisting this one last time, I am not not going to give away a vehicle that has a new motor and fresh tranny. This is my bottom dollar. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove this from auction at any time so bid early and often for a very sound vehicle that gets better gas mileage than your current vehicle!
