Up for sale is my pride and joy. This 90 hatchback stang has the works done. I've owned the car for 5 yrs and only had the opportunity to put maybe 3000 miles on her. Now my new business consumes all my time and the money could be better used in that venture. Now the car. I purchased a NOS short block took that to KTR racing engines of Depew. There it was dimantled, replaced were forged internals, added were KB pistons and the crank was rebalanced to those pistons. Then I topped it off with AFR 185 aluminum heads(best there is) and converted it to carb, all of this work was done meticulously. Pushing in the vacinity of 400 HP. The parts are top of the line Edelbrock rpm performer manifold, Edelbrock 650 cfm carb, fed by a holley red electric fuel pump that in ran by a switch along witha new fuel tank and 3/8" aluminum fuel line from tank to carb, and complete ignition by MSD, with a Optima yellow top battery relocated to the hatch, and a four core radiator. The exhaust is BBk shorty headers that feed into 2.5" Mac exhaust all the way to the rear. it sounds beastly. Up to this point there is about $7000 in the drivetrain. I swaped from auto to a world class t5 tranny and this car really pulls. I tied the frame and added tubular upper and lower control arms, then did a 5 lug swap using the ford racing kit, so the axles, rotors,bearings are brand new, reason for this was to have a wider tire selection. She sit nice and low . Brakes were addressed at the same time using Hawk performance pads and shoes. So gone with the 17" rims, and purchased 18x9" saleen rims that were given nitto 555 rubber, 255 35s up front and real meats in the rear using 285 35s, the suspension has Eibach sport springs with all new shocks and struts, this vehicle handles like a slot car. There is no tire rubbing and to ensure that I rolled the rear fenders. The interior was completly ditched and replaced with a full interior kit(all black) from cj pony parts, headliner, carpet, door panels, and sparing no expense I got all new seat foams. All interior parts that were gray were removed sanded and a black vinyl paint applied. with the carpet out the floor was wire brushed, primed and epoxied. There are white faced guages and a Grant Gt steering wheel, this interior is better than new. This vehicle is a real looker and performer the new motor has just passed break in with maybe 1000 mile on her, the rims, tires brakes have maybe 200 miles on them. The body was never crashed and there is absoulty no rust. I redid the underside by wire brushing primimg and epoxing, you can eat off it. The engine bay is extremly clean as all the fuel injection stuff has been removed..I have spared no expense or time while building this project, if you know about stangs all that can be done to get maximum performance is there. Unfortunatly I will not get to reap my hard work and piles of cash spent . The car has never seen snow, only caught in a couple of rains, and has been garaged at least for the last 12 years. My loss is your gain with well over $18,000 spent and that does not included labor as I do my own work(outside the motor). She is a steal at this price.
