2001 Ford P-71 Police Interceptor. Clean title. Registration good for a year 04/2014. Approx 165K miles. Runs great. No leaks, doesn't smoke. Using as everyday driver. I'm confident you could take this car across country without a problem. Tires are great, they have about 75-80% life left in them. The motor is the big Interceptor V8. On trips, I've got 22mpg with it. Not bad for the horsepower it produces. This car came from the Arizona Highway Patrol. It was a supervisor car and did see hard miles. So no cage and has cloth seats in the back. Has a class 3 hitch. was used to tow electronic signs on the side of the highway. Comes with the police console, with radio and controls for lights and siren. The siren eletronics and flashing lights have been removed. There unused controls that you can customize to operate you own equipment. Has the push bumper. Has two Antennas, one connected to two way radio and the other to a scanner. The two way radio works, but the transmitter is disabled. It can be enabled and used if you have the right license. Right now it's in scanning mode only and can listen to channels that it's programmed for. I understand it can be reprogrammed. Also there is a scanner that I added. Gets all the local police and fire and has a cool feature that tells you if there is Highway Patrol with in 3 miles of you. You can program it for whatever state your driving in. The car comes with AM-FM CD/DVD SD card stereo, with Bluetooth, touch screen control, direct iPod/iPhone connector and rear view camera. If you have an iPhone, you tap the volume knob and Siri will ask you want you want. You can make or receive calls if you have a Bluetooth enabled phone. You can stream Bluetooth audio thru also. control panel is removable. Has a fuel cutoff button the the trunk and an escape latch, on case you're kidnapped in your own car. The trunk has police trunk organizer with a kavlar liner.Tinted windows all around. Two rear door windows and the back window have an 85% tint. The two front windows have the California limit of 35% for those windows. The body is straight. No real dents. Had a class 3 hitch. Looks good. Two features it was told to me when I bought it was the front doors have ballistic panels and the front seats have stab plates. I can't confirm this, I never looked because that wasn't important to me. Ok, now I told you all the good stuff, what wrong? Two things I'm aware of.1. The heater core is by passed because it leaked. Easy fix in most cases, I never bothered2. There is some paint peeling on a corners of the two rear pillars . Why am I selling it? I bought the car to haul my wife wheelchair lift. she has passed away and now I don't need the car. Time for someone else to enjoy it. It's a great car and thought about keeping it but having two cars isn't worth it to my, by myself.Serious drivers can test drive it, no problem.
