Up for auction a 1965 ford f-100 truck originally from New Mexico and then brought up to the thousand island area in New York for a summer ride while owner visited summers. This truck has never been driven in New York winters and stored inside for winters. The engine was replace before I purchased the truck with a Ford 390 ci it runs excellent starts great and runs strong. Drive is a four speed on floor with a granny low top speed on truck is comfortably about 60mph will do more but i would not be comfortable running her out that hard for a long period of time. There is four brand new Firestone tires on the truck (50 miles on them new) and the truck was just New York State inspected last week and passed no problems. Everything works on truck, lights, switches, windows, everything. It could easily be an every day driver or a great start to a rebuild. All the parts are hear and she is very solid. The radio was replaced with an fm model but with a special one that fit the dash. Dash was not cut and I do have the original am radio. There is also a class three recieved on back of truck with an electric brake control inside cab. With the history i have on truck it was painted once the same color it is now in 1980 and that is all that has ever been done to truck. The truck also has a tool box on passenger side of bed built in and a auxiliary fuel tank with manual switch for tank on floor in cab. Now for whats wrong with truck and I have included pictures of all of the areas I am about to mention. First the heater core just started dripping this spring and I have not replaced yet I have looped the hose so she can still run with out leaking and since I only have it out in warm weather was not in a hurry to fix it. There is also a big scratch that runs down the drivers side of truck refer to pics to see extent. Last the rocker panels on both side have a rust hole in them you cannot see them when the door is closed. Front drivers side fender has a little rust issue also not bad at all though again check out pics included. In closing the truck is in great shape for an original 1965. very solid, great runner and not beat or dented up at all. All lenses and windows in great shape also. Check pics of the the trucks bed (tells the story of a trucks life) the wheel hubs have no dents and bed is in great shape and original.
