He kept it in original condition for a few years before deciding to swap the narrow Carrera body panels with wider Turbo pieces. Factory steel fenders and quarters were grafted to the body work and the car was resprayed the original Black. It has been driven sparingly, only covering 64k miles from new. Porsche San Francisco replaced the speedometer at 20845 miles on 1/13/89. It has been impeccably maintained. 4k miles ago a new clutch was fitted. There is a comprehensive history file dating back nearly 20 years in addition to boxes of spare filters and gaskets, a cover and Porsche bra for the hood and mirrors.
