The previous owner had already thoroughly cleaned it and replaced all of the carpeting before our purchase and there is no residual smell or problems with anything related to that. Also, my husband and I were in a minor accident this past summer and were hit on the passenger door side. We were able to drive home with the car from the accident. Minimal body work was required. The passenger door was replaced and the vehicle was repaired professionally and quickly back on the road!We purchased this vehicle from a dealer who specializes in doing repairs on vehicles with salvage titles in need of minor repairs. They did the repairs from the minimal water damage which only affected the carpeting. I don't have any information from the previous owner. This car has been smoke free and pet free since we've had it and there is no smell or signs of either. We have the body work repair records which is minimal from the accident mentioned previously. The airbags did not deploy. No mechanical repairs were needed or have ever been done on this vehicle. Oil changes have been done as recommended. The gas mileage is aprx 36 mpg on the hwy. We have not personally checked it but you should be able to get that information online. A tank of gas does go a long way compared to our other vehicles. THIS VEHICLE HAS NO PHYSICAL OR MECHANICAL PROBLEMS PRESENT AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM!!!!!! I have thoroughly enjoyed this vehicle and love the color, looks, and everything about it except that I prefer an automatic transmission. I paid much more than this just 1 year ago for this car and it looks and drives as good as it did when we bought it. Also, the miles are extremely low! This is a fabulous vehicle, regardless of the rebuilt title. All of the repairs have been made, it's got all of the luxuries you could wish for, and it looks almost like new.This is an exceptional deal for anyone specifically looking for this very popular vehicle and loves driving a manual transmission!!!!
