1957 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Oval Window Up for bids is our ONE OF A KIND 1957 VW "OVAL WINDOW" BEETLE. We ran this car on the BONNIVILLE SALT FLATS last year in the 36HP VW class! Due to some health concerns we are unable to return to UTAH this year and are forced to sell the car. The BUG has a stock 36 HP engine ( 600 miles on an overhaul) and stock transmission with the following modifications: It has Okrasa aftermarket crank shaft, a race cam, and a 28 PIC carburetor Abarth style 4-tip Exhaust. Porsche wheels and brakes. We also installed real MOON wheel covers. We will also include extra parts including 2 carburetors, a coil and distributer. We had a wonderful time on the Salt Flats! This car would be a good restoration project as there is no rust and it runs great.
