For sale my beloved Shadow vt 800. Got my self Vmax so its time for my Anarchy to go. Very rare bike was only made for one year. Got this bike about 3 years ago from a friend. Rebuild the engine (new rings honed cylinders), clutch rear brakes, forks. Put vt700 wheels on it and powder-coated it black. Many other parts powder coated. Put gel seat insert on it make a big difference. Now about things that don't work. Speedo died on me this year (odometer works though) and the tachometer's glass cracked I would just replace both of them. When cold it makes clicking noise in rear cylinder I opened it up last year cause I been told it was hydraulic tappets. So I soak them in ATF they work fine but the noise is still there. Only clicks when cold. I am thinking it needs valve adjustment. CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO Other then that bike rides awesome never had me stranded.
