I am the owner of this 2008 Honda Element SC and I am looking for a buyer. I purchased this car HONDA CERTIFIED USED in January of 2011 and have put about 37,000 miles on it. The car is in excellent condition and passed NY State Inspection at the end of January of 2013. I also have a cars.com page which has a FREE link to a CARFAX report that you can access - CLICK - Element page at Cars.com The Element SC is Honda's top of the line in their Element series and has been recently discontinued, however with their unique design and being a Honda, these used cars have now grown in demand. The Element was designed for the outdoor individual. Honda made the body a mix of metal and plastic so the car could take a beating. The inside was made with waterproof seats and a hard rubber floor so a person could clean the inside and out with a rubber hose. But to compete against the Scion, Honda introduced a third level to their Element line, the SC. The SC was to attract the driver who liked the "box" utility vehicle but wanted more suburban feature, not outdoor. So Honda made the SC with wider projector-beam headlights, a one tone color on the body and bumper, a redesigned grille, 18-inch rims, a more luxury interior with full carpeting, dark accents, red and black gauges, a 7 point speaker sound system, and a highly rated center console (for a Honda). The problem was the price was getting away from the Scion so Honda had to cut back on the some of the features, such as adding all-wheel drive. But overall, the SC was well received and is still a car that grabs attention on the road, especially this car with it's color and how it shines during both the day and night.
