1965 El Camino 350 Cubic Inch Engine 2004R Transmission (Automatic w/Overdrive, functional lock up torque converter) Air Conditioning with working heat and defrost Power Steering Power Disc Brakes 3.08 Rear (cruises nicely at 85 mph in overdrive) Offered for sale is my 1965 El Camino. It has had a lot of work done, to include front suspension, power disc brakes added, control arm bushings, transmission, air conditioning, interior, new bumpers, air shocks, rear brakes, dual exhaust, classic stereo, rear end, fuel tank, and a lot more I'm sure I left out. You could fly in and drive it home. I've taken it on a 4 hour drive at 85 mph without a problem. I imagine it could do that all day. It rides and drives nicely, and has all of the modern comfort items wanted by most people. The body is very, very nice with only a few flaws. I would call them less than normal wear and tear. They don't even show up in photos. The paint is shiny and smooth, and it looks good from every side. The car sounds great. The dual exhaust with flowmasters gives it a nice sound. It's quiet at highway speeds, but has a great tone when you accelerate. It stops and steers well, and you can use this as daily transportation. It has a trailer hitch if you needed to haul a small trailer, and a golf cart fits in the bed, just in case you need to move one. If you prefer a 1964 body style, my other auction has a real nice one with a big block and a 4 speed. I reserve the right to end the auction early in the event I get a serious buyer.
