No reserve auction. Please note: this is a parts vehicle, there is no title, it is not running and it is incomplete. I got the Cruiser as a 2 for 1 deal, I bought a 77 Cruiser and was given this one to pull parts from. I have what I need, so I'm letting this one go to the highest bidder. No reserve. What I know:I have some spare doors that I'll include in the sale. That's one driver's side, one passenger. I also have a tail gate and very crude upper window (home made) that I can include in the sale at no charge.The hood is too far gone, there is more rust than metal. You'll need gloves to touch it, unless you're up to date on your tetanus shots.There is an engine, a transmission and a transfer case. Both axles are present, as are the brakes.There's very little left of the dash.The engine bay has plenty missing from it.The valve cover is just sitting there, not bolted down at all.There are no windows.The top has a significant dent in it since the previous owner stored spare parts on top of it.There is a VIN plate.There is NO TITLE. I have no idea whether you can get one. You're welcome to call the Kentucky DMV and find out with the VIN.Hinges are in great shape for the front door.Tires are dry rotted but have been holding air for over 5 weeks. What I do not know:I cannot test or verify the condition of the engine. It may run, or it may be a very nice paperweight.I cannot test the transfer case or transmission. Same thing: they might work, they might not.There is a LOT of rust on this cruiser and I make no predictions or guarantees that you can or cannot restore it. Plenty of bits left, I can take as many pictures as you need me to. I will help load if needed but I cannot deliver. Please understand that this is not a quick weekend fix, this is a complete restoration on a very cool truck or it's a part out to use what you need and recycle the rest. FJ40 must be picked up within 10 days of auction ending. I'm paying for the storage unit on a monthly basis and I want this gone sooner rather than later. On Apr-12-13 at 11:33:36 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer some of the recurring questions:-There is no Buy It Now price, please bid through Ebay if you want this FJ. -The tires are too far gone to be trusted. They still hold air but one of the fronts has a slow leak and the rears have the tread coming off the tires. Plan on bringing your own wheels if you want to tow it back. Flatbed would be better. -I have a few spare parts, I have added pictures of them in a Photobucket album that I'll try to link on here. -I do have a steering column and steering wheel, yes and they will be included in the sale. I may even have a turn signal stalk that I'll include if I can ever find it. -I was wrong about the doors: I have 2 sets of front doors and one set of ambulance doors. That should make this monster slightly more interesting! -I have an extra fender and some window molding. You can take it if you want it, or leave it, no big deal. -I can take as many more pictures as you need me to, don't hesitate to ask.
