This was a project I started in 2009 with the intent to just swap out the engine and tranny, but once I got started, I just kept on going until it was a bare sub-frame. I installed power steering from a 1976 F250 setup works awesome ($1500.00) I replaced the stock Dana 44 with a 79 Dana 60 ($800.00) Manual 4-speed brand new rebuild ($1200.00) Custom built the front end - HIGH end work - looks works great ($600.00) Front disc brakes ($200.00) ALL subframe connections have been professionally welded for super strength ($300.00) Replaced the stock 360 with a rebuilt .030 390 with Comp Cams (Grind # 282S-10) - shoulkd be pretty cool loppy idle - rebuid should easily produce 400+ hp - never been fire up, brand new 0 miles on the engine!
