HERE IS THE DEAL ON THE TITLE SITUATION: I PURCHASED THIS TRUCK FROM A NEIGHBOR UP THE ROAD FROM MY SHOPWHEN I PULLED AN AUTOCHECK, IT IS SHOWING A (((SALVAGE TITLE HISTORY))) FROM YORK HAVEN PA.THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN A LOCAL TRUCK FROM DAY ONE. IT DOES NOT TELL ANYTHING OF WHY IT HAS ANY SALVAGE HISTORY! I ASKED THE PEOPLE I PURCHASED IT FROM & I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY PURCHASED IT FROM THEIR FATHER THAT OWNED A SALVAGE YARD & HAD NO IDEA WHY IT WAS. I HAVE A CLEAN & CLEAR TITLE FOR THIS TRUCK, IT DOES NOT HAVE A BRANDED TITLE SO WITH THAT BEING SAID: I AM SELLING THIS TRUCK WITH A CLEAN & CLEAR TITLE BUT HAS SOME SORT OF SALVAGE HISTORY & PER EBAY'S RULES I HAVE TO LIST IT IN THE SALVAGE TITLE CATEGORY! YES THIS IS A NICE 2 OWNER LOCAL TRUCK ALL ORIGINAL & NON-MOLESTED 1996 FORD F-350 CREW CAB LONG BOX 4 X 4 SOUGHT AFTER 7.3 POWERSTROKE TURBO DIESEL, AUTOMATIC, POWER WINDOWS & LOCKS, CRUISE, BRAKE CONTROLLER EMBLEMS ON THE FENDERS SHOW IT AS AN XL BUT SEEMS LOADED LIKE AN XLT? ODOMETER IS 302,XXX & IS BELIEVED TO BE ACTUAL PER LAST OWNERBUT DRIVING THIS TRUCK YOU WOULD SWEAR IT HAS UNDER 100,000 IT WAS WELL CARED FOR & HERE IS A LIST OF ITEMS THAT WERE DONE TO THIS TRUCK PER LAST OWNER IN THE PAST YEARWHICH I CAN VERIFY MOST BY SIGHT: FRONT END HAS BEEN GONE THROUGH BRAND NEW REAR TIRES, STARTER, ALTERNATOR, GLOW PLUGS, FUEL INJECTORSREAR FUEL SENDING UNIT, REAR TANK, FRONT SENDING UNIT,TRANSMISSION, TRANSFER CASE, ALL FLUIDS SERVICED OR CHANGED. THE ENGINE RUNS LIKE A SWISS WATCH DRIVES STRAIGHT DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 80PULLS WITH THE CROWN OF THE ROAD. OVERALL THIS IS A VERY NICE TRUCK THAT I WOULD NOT HESITATE DRIVING CROSS COUNTRY. ISSUES KNOWN: HAS SOME RUSTING ON THE REAR WHEEL WELLS, BOTTOMS OF FENDERS & TAILGATE DRIPS A FEW DROPS OF MOTOR OIL LIKE EVERY OTHER DIESEL COULD USE A SET OF FRONT TIRES HAS SOME SCRATCHES & MINOR DINGS EXPECTED FOR ITS AGE. PASSENGERS REAR POWER DOOR LOCK IS STICKY & TAKES MULTIPLE HITS OF THE POWER DOOR LOCK SWITCH TO OPEN OTHER THAN THAT I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT IT. I try to list each & every vehicle as accurately & honestly as I can but, there are sometimes items that are not as obvious to notice when doing this.
