For sale a 1966 Ford Thunderbird landau. In '02 the car was in the process of a restoration and put into storage, I am the second owner since then and have started putting it back together but is not complete yet. It has new paint, underneath was undercoated and overall the body is in very good condition, there are two small dings on the hood from it being in storage. It had a factory vinyl top that was removed, the metal on top is solid and I have a new replacement top for it. The original interior color was parchment but had sun faded so I was in the process of color-changing it to black and replacing the dash pad but it is not finished yet. The shifter on the column will need a kit due to the locking pin being wore out so it doesn't stay in gear. All the panels, trim and parts are there to finish putting the car back together but will need door seals. Mechanically the car runs, drives and stops fine but has not been on the road for some time. It has the 390 engine that I think is original to the car. When I purchased it I had two pushrods replaced due to sticking valves. It has developed a slight oil leak since but I think it's just from sitting too long. That is the reason I'm selling it, I just don't have the time to finish it or enjoy it when completed. I will put the original steel wheels and hubcaps on the car before it sells, the ones pictured do not go with the car.
