This auction is for a Porsche 911T with a 911E 2.4 liter engine. It is a metallic red 1972 2-door coupe. It has polished aluminum wheels. The car has original interior but has replacement high backed 911 front seats installed. We have the original low backed 911 seats that came with the car which will be sold with the vehicle. Body is straight, no accidents, very few dings. Car is slightly modified for autocross. These modifications include a sport muffler, larger torsion bars (front and rear), and aftermarket sway bars (front and rear), 3 inch aftermarket racer seat belts. Car is modified for speed and handling, but is still street legal. It has Webber carbs. My father has had this car since 1976. He modified and raced this car for some years, but it has been stored in an indoor closed garage continuously for the last 25 years with some off and on use. It was last auto crossed 5 years ago. It has be occasionally driven since. Here is some extra engine info: The original engine has been replaced, so numbers will not match the car, Here is some paint info for you: The original paint color was PINK, it was painted after my father bought it and was changed to a less unsightly color, metallic red. This is not the original color. Condition of the undercarriage: This car has been in California. It was originally sold in Southern CA and my father bought it used here by San Francisco. It currently resides in a fully enclosed garage in Grass Valley. It has not been driven on salted roads or in rough weather.
