THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT BY THE OWNER IN JULY 2011. IT IS A 1972 VEGA GT. STREET LEGAL AND AWESOME! The previous owner said there was no rust on the body when they did the paint which he said is PPG GLOSS BLACK. The car is straight as you can see in my photos. It was built by "Wild Hare Customs" in Portland Oregon. check out their website you will see more photos of this car on their site as well. The doors are solid. No sign of sag and no stress fractures in the back hatch either. Things done since owner bought it are: * New rubber door and back hatch seals has been purchased and put on in front and back. Transmission Serviced and new Tran cooler added, New Battery. Have receipts for all items purchased. When body was being painted all glass was sent out to be tinted. Have all paper work showing price paid. MOTOR: 355 CUI STEEL MAIN BLOCK, Dart Head, Roller Rockers, Comp Cam, Push Rods, 671 Blower, 1 to 1 Gear. 45 degree cut, 3/4 Thick, 5 lb Boost. 400 Trans with 3000 Stall Ratchet Shifter Ford 9" Rear with 3.00 Gears with 25 spline Trac Lock Wheels: True Center Lines Tires: BFG Radial T/A Front Clip : was out of a either 89'-91 S10. Gas tank : was replaced with a 12 gal. Custom tank in the stock location Have all paper work done for engine work. Done by B&M Engine Service in Portland Oregon on 3-7-2010. Rear end was done by ALDRIDGE MOTORSPORTS & ENGINEERING in Portland Oregon May-2010 Blower Built by " BLOWN PLUM CRAZY" by Gale Plummer in Portland Oregon. Paper work shows serial number but not a date built. Windows tinted by Auto Trim Designs in Portland Oregon Trans. was serviced at Cottman Trans in Beaverton Oregon also put in new cooler 8-19-2011. Battery: put in new on on 2 -5- 2012 Dual fans on radiator, electric fuel pump New tires bought on May 7, 2012 P295/50R 15 BFG RADIAL T/A Rear - Front P185/ 60R-15 Bought from America's Tire in HIllsboro Oregon. Interior: Excellent Condition. No cracks in the dash. Bucket seats are out of a 1971 Camaro. ALL BLACK. Have some extra parts, light lenses, wheelie bar, bumpers and car cover. Some things that may need addressed but in no hurry : Gas sending unit needs to be replaced. It is not telling you how much gas is still in the tanks. Shows half full when it is empty. Speedometer is not hooked up. I would change out the 7 qt oil pan for a 4 or 5 qt just for more ground clearance. It now uses 5 - 30w Royal Purple that is expensive. Has a chrome water pump and found a small bit of condensation. Temp runs about 185 to 200 degrees depends on outside weather during summer. This car is only driven in the SUMMER and very nice days to cruise in and shows. Not raced. Owner lost his job and needs to sell due to hard times. Great deal for you. This car is very well done. It has maybe 4,000 miles on it since 2007. And maybe that is more then true.
