I'm selling my exceptionally clean, original & low mileage 1976 CB400F Super Sport. I've recently seen a 'lesser' CB400F sell for $6,700 thus decided to see what the market will bare for this much better example which is documented with a clean title. The high resolution pictures speak for themselves as I'm certain you will not find a nicer original example of the CB400F unless, that is, you're observing one in a museum. What's the point in buying such a nice machine if you cannot ride and enjoy it...? Well, my 400F runs as good as it looks...as it should. No excuses! The original paint on the side covers and fuel tank is in great condition. No, the fuel tank has not been coated with any foreign substances. The original chrome is brilliant with a high degree of luster. The seat and seat pan...well again, have a look at the pictures...are excellent with no damage. Even the original safety decals are present and accounted for. Note even the rubber rod-end joint covers are present on the gear shift linkage assembly. The original head pipe and muffler assemblies are also brilliant! The wheels and suspension are original too but the tires have been upgraded with Avons so you the next owner/enthusiast can enjoy the twisty roads with confidence. Even the handlebar switch cubes are original and 100% functional as are the hand grips. The original tool kit, tool tray, owner's manual (w/protective cover) and two factory keys are included.
