I have for sale my 97 Subaru Impreza Brighton with 2.5 RS Motor. It comes equipped with the following. A World Rally Blue Paint Job, not a cheap maaco job. Everything was disassembled and painted using PPGs premium Nexa Autocolor paint system. The blue base coat retails at 700 a gallon alone. New OEM Fenders and RS front bumper, and Seibon Carbon Fiber hood painted to match the car. Carbon Fiber RB5 rear spoiler with just the outside supports painted to match the car, the rest is clear coated carbon. Painted 2.5 RS Side Skirts. Replica JDM decals on trunk, foglight covers, quarter panels. STi 7-8 Wheels (professionally repainted but have a few nicks) and brand new RE070's with maybe 3000 miles. JDM Markers. JDM v8 STi seats Alcantara headliner (needs to be reglued) Blue Alcantara wrapped door cards STi v8 Rear seat with pass through. Black STi Floor Mats New Blue carpet BC Coilover set up, new Crossdrilled/ powder coated rotors and EBC redstuff pads all around. 2:1 Steering reducer puck (1.5 turns lock to lock ;) ) Everything Ive put on the car generally has less than 10,000 miles on it. Engine and transmission has about 110,000. the car about 170,000. Upgraded rear drums to disc, 2.5RS brands and hubs all around. A lot of time, blood and love went into this car, but I just got married and need some cash now and will be getting into an STi down the road hopefully :) This is a great car, but needs a few things. It just passed inspection no problem with the stock computer. I also have a 2.5 RS computer that the car runs great with but throws a check engine light due to the car looking for an EGR system that doesn't exist on this motor. The clutch slips a bit and makes some noise. I have a new exedy clutch ready to go in the car. Leaks a bit of oil, looks like its coming from the seals behind the timing belt. Car is pretty touchy with the quick steering. It takes some getting used to, but would be really easy to swap back in an hour or two with a standard steering column. Ive done my best to describe the car accurately but definitely recommend that you test drive the car before bidding. It was painted in a full down draft spray booth, and all the body work is straight. It has gorgeous paint that blows away what Subaru puts out from the factory. The painter is known for award winning classic restorations and is working on an original million dollar Hemi Cuda right now. Of course the motor, and vehicle itself are worth several thousand, especially in the condition it is in. I had an 03 World Rally Blue WRX STi JDM clone before this and didn't get half the attention this car brings, you wont pull up to another car like it Also, this car has NO rust. Has been in eastern NC most of its life. No rusted bolts, no rusted quarter panels, which is getting VERY rare with these cars.
