The auction is for a 1954 Studebaker Champion. The car is a project car. Restore or Resto Rod Clear California title The black and yellow plates are listed on the title so a California buyer can use them. Don’t Let This One Get Away ---------------------------------------------------------------- THE STORY: This car belongs to a friend of mine. He bought it in the early 80s and it has been in storage. He has built a number of Studebakers but he is moving and cannot take this car with him. DESCRIPTION: The car is stock except for the front seats, console, and the rear end. It is a Ford 8 ¾ inch (width is the same as stock, brakes are bigger and the stock wheels fit. The engine runs (see video) and the car drives (see video). The body is in very good condition (no patch panels found), there was some surface rust where the paint was thin. The frame and body supports look great. The paint is catalyzed enamel (sands easily, dust, no gum) The body is not perfect and will need a little TLC (for show quality). The front and rear windows are good but the door windows are cracked.
