For sale is a 1960 Triumph TR3A that would be ideal for someone looking for a project car. My father has owned this car for years and was supposed to be his project car when he retired. It was last driven in 1981 and has been parked in the garage ever since. It is not drivable in its current state. Sometime ago, my father replaced the stock engine with a TR4 engine that has Stromberg carburetors. Mileage odometer reads 85,612. Odometer is original to the car and I believe is the accurate mileage, though I do not know how many miles the TR4 engine had done before it was installed. VIN Number is TS51643LSTC60. Car was last registered in California in 1994 but has not been driven since 1981. Original color of the car is Red with a black interior. Convertible top is missing as well as the bottom cushion for the passenger seat. Front bumper is located in the interior of the car and is also included in the sale. Gear shift knob is also missing as well as the side mounted windows. Car has vintage California plates. Drive train is intact, engine and transmission are complete. The whole car needs to be restored. There is surface rust that is visible, some corrosion on the floor pans that is visible from the photos. The frame looks to be free of rust. This has always been a California car as far as I know and has been parked in a covered garage while it sat waiting to be restored.
