Vehicle Detail

Relisted due to ebay saying I violated there policies listing other things that I have. Sorry NO RESERVE BID TO OWN!!! Up for sale here I have a 1950 3/4 ton long bed that had a 283 put in it buy the previous owner at least 20 years ago. He used this truck as his wood hauling and do all farm truck up until he quit burning wood around 10 years ago and he parked it in the barn. It still cranks over but won't fire. All I did was put a battery and fresh gas to it. The battery is not included but I will include a core. I have the keys to it and it is push button start. It probably wouldn't take much to get it running and driving but it will definitely need brakes and tires. The truck doesn't have a body tag or title and never did the whole time he owned it. He only used it around the farm. I don't know if I will be able to get a title for it or not. SO IF A TITLE IS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE TO YOU DON'T BID BECAUSE I'M UNSURE WHETHER OR NOT I CAN GET ONE. I HAVE TO TAKE THE TRUCK TO THE HIGHWAY PATROL VIN INSPECTORS IN OLATHE, KANSAS FOR THEM TO DECIDE WHETHER I CAN GET A STATE ASSIGNED VIN OR NOT. I'M GOING TO TAKE THE TRUCK FRIDAY TO SEE IF I CAN GET IT A VIN AND TITLE FOR IT OR NOT. I will post whether or not I was able to get it titled and I will probably take some better pictures while its out of the garage. The truck is heavy duty. There are 17 leafs on the front springs and the rear has 13 leafs plus overloads. The bottom of the running boards sit 16" off the ground. It has some rust in the cab corners and the drivers side cowl down low. There is also some rust I'm the kick panels and a very small amount in the floor. The doors and hood are rust free. The front bed rail has a very small amount of rust in it. The beltline on the cab has some heavy surface rust on it and I noticed a pinhole through it near the drivers door. There are minor dings all around on the truck from use and slight damage or rust in all the fenders. The tailgate is dented as pictured. It has a diamond plate bed floor with a 3" gooseneck ball mounted back there. It's got a heavy rear bumper mounted on it as well. There is some damage all around on the truck but a lot of guys would just use it the way it is. The front bumper is trashed and the lower grill is dented up. I have a better bumper with brackets I would let go with the truck. The running boards are also beat on the truck but I have a nicer set of those that I will include with the truck as well. The truck has a pto that runs to a hydraulic pump under it. The speedometer is really the only missing part that I know of. All the glass is in it and the passenger door glass is the only cracked piece. This truck would make a great parts donor for your shortbed but it's pretty cool the way it is. I describe my items honestly and don't want the new owner to buy something thats worse than what they thought. This is a project truck but could be used the way it is if you got it running and stopping. The truck was wet in some of the pictures because it was snowing when we unloaded it. Full payment within 7 days no exceptions. No deadbeats or scammers needed. Thanks and good luck bidding. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION SO BID TO OWN. THIS TRUCK IS FOR SALE LOCALLY SO THE AUCTION MAY END AT ANYTIME BEFORE A BID IS PLACED. On Mar-29-13 at 18:50:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I took the truck to the KHP vin inspectors today and they informed me that the only way to get a title for this truck is to go through the legal process known as a quiet title. It involves paperwork, a lawyer, and the court ordering the KHP to attach a vin that matches the one on the engine. Best case scenario this would probably cost $350 and it could cost much more than that. I will go through this process for the buyer if they want me to but the buyer will pay all fees associated with titling the truck. If you know how to get a title for this truck easilly thats great too. I also took some better quality and lit pics but ebay won't let me delete and add new pics since the reserve is met so if you want better pics email me and I will send them to you through text or email whatever way you prefer. Thanks and good luck.On Mar-30-13 at 19:43:31 PDT, seller added the following information: The frame on this truck is as solid as can be only surface rust. If you want to see the better pics get ahold of me and I'll give you the shutterfly website I created that eBay won't allow me to post in this ad. ThanksOn Apr-01-13 at 19:52:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I will write out a bill of sale on this truck using the serial number that is on the engine. It was ran through the system by the KHP and came back clean so you may be able to get the truck titled to that number easily in your state.
