1953 Matchless G80S. Picked this bike up about 10 years ago from an old timer in Costa Mesa, Ca. I've taken her out to the desert a few times over the years and she's fun to putt around on (going 30 is like going 70 on a modern bike). It's time for her to have a new home. What you see is what you get, minus the seat. The seat is off another bike and just shot that way so that you can get an idea of what she'd look like with a nice desert seat. I repeat, the seat is not included. She ran good the last time I had her out around 3 years back. I haven't tried to start her recently, but I'm confident with fresh gas, a fresh plug and a strong leg she should fire right up. The bike has a Webco sprocket on the rear wheel. The tank has a nice road rash on it and a number of other small dents, as does the oil tank. It has a new brake cable and clutch cable and new chains. I did what I had to do 10 years back to get her running, which wasn't much. The bike is a true California survivor and would look good in any collection or hanging on the wall of a bar.Bill of sale only.No warranty (obviously) sold as is.Mileage unknown.Local pick up preferred.
