PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING. I'm sorry to have to say this first. I apologize to all honest ebayers. Please do not bid if you are not willing to pay a goodfaith $500.00 PayPal deposit at auction close. (within 48 hours) Please do not run up the bidding to outbid other honest ebayers, only to say you want to come and see if the car is worth that. I won't do business with you, and won't let you come. An honest and smooth transaction is more important to me than money. I simply will NOT change the price once bidding concludes. A BID IS AN AGREEMENT TO BUY THE CAR. I am happy to answer questions, show the car, road test etc., BEFORE YOU BID. Once you bid, you are not coming to see IF you want it. I am giving an honest description of a 14 year old car, that is road ready for reliable daily driving. This car is not perfect. Please do not bid high, and expect a perfect car. I have a reasonable reserve. If that is all it goes for, I stick to my word. I have sold and bought things for .99 cents on ebay, when that is all it went for at auction. The items were packed nicely and shipped right out. That is the type of ebayer I want to do business with. Now, on to the description! '99 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible, 5 speed manual, SE model with optional amp, and 10CD changer in trunk, climate control, dual power seats, power mirrors etc. Runs excellent, good gas mileage plus turbo power. Good daily driver, clean interior, very good mechanical condition. Solid underneath, not a salt belt car....spent most of it's life in Virginia. MECHANICALLY SOUND, Engine and turbo solid. No oil leaks. Clutch and transmission solid. No exhaust leaks or smoke. New transmission and engine mounts. Passes New York State safety and emissions inspection. Tires about 1/2 tread left. Brake pads about 1/2 life left. Convertible top runs a bit slow when cold or after sitting some time, and sometimes needs to be reversed. Top moves nicely after being cycled a few times after sitting. Cosmetic issues: Bigger dent left rear 1/4 panel, small dent top right rear 1/4 panel, right door small dent. 14 years of dings etc. not all visible in pictures or video. Small "star" in center of windshield on driver's side, visible in video. Some small wear areas in original top fabric. Disclosure of other minor issues: Power antenna not working.(does not go up, reception still good) Some LED's out on information display. When did gas fill-up, gauge only shows 3/4 tank even though full. Sound system has 6 speakers, but one of the dash speakers, and both door(bass) speakers don't work. (still sounds 0K) Car has fresh oil change, and over a half tank of gas.
