I bought and set up this bike for the purpose of riding the T.A.T (Trans America Trail). It had about 700 miles on it and was in perfect mint condition. Total trip milage was 6700 miles plus a little local riding so it now has about 7700 total miles. I changed out the motor oil to Mobil One 20-50 Air cooled engine oil imediately after purchasing, before heading out on the TAT and 2 times during the ride. The bike never missed a beat and ran perfect for every simngle mile. It has been de-smogged, air box opened up, Uni-filter installed and an XR's only ehaust with silent core insert added installed. These modifications really wake these bikes up and cause them to run way, better than in stock form. Other chanes are listed below. I saved and have every part that was removed which are included. It currenty has street oriented tires on it that are almost new but 2 new, never mounted Michelin T-63 D.O.T. approved knobbys are included. The chain/front sprocket, brakes and wheel bearings were also changed at the 1/2 way point and are still in very good condition with plenty of life left. Bike is dry and has never leaked a drop of anything.
