Make sure you have your finances in order, the Wifes approval, and are serious about it. 1996 Corvette Collector Edition Coupe - 18000 orig. miles - THIS IS 1 OF ONLY 399 produced with the Red interior. The Collector Editions came with either black, gray, or the hardest one to find red interior. It has been meticulously cared for car, always garaged, never raced, and maintained impeccably. It has never been in accident, mechanically modified in any way whatsoever, or driven in bad weather. It does have chrome Z06 knock off wheels with like new tires. For those Corvette purists, it is definitely a must have. Take it to shows, and you will probably be the only one with a Red interior. The Silver Metallic paint shines and is without flaws. The moldings, handles, glass roof panel, window glass, lettering, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in exceptional condition. The wheels are not abused and the tires are almost new. It has never been run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. I have all of the manuals. The exterior is a strong 9.8 / 10. On the inside, the Red interior still looks, feels, and maintains the crispness of a new one. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered, and the floor mats have mats over the mats. The door panels, carpeting, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original. All of the interior buttons / switches ( power windows, door locks, cruise, and 6 way power sport seats ) work without issue. All of the dash cluster gauges are lit and function. The stereo system still plays perfect. I also have extra flooring and a car cover. The undercarriage is dry, spotless, and rust free too. Inside, it is a 9.9 / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as a "well-oiled" machine should. All of the servicing is up to date - super cold a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The engine compartment is extra clean / dry, and it performs without hesitation. Of course, the LT1 - 300 hp engine has great pick-up, and performs without issue on all levels. Whomever buys this car will thoroughly enjoy owning, looking, and driving it.
