Is it Spring yet? The cops were going to give me a ticket for insanity when they saw me taking pictures with the top down in the snow but I had to show you the power top works properly. Just traded, here is a 2002 VW Cabrio with automatic, full power and what a nice car this is. Not much to tell you about as this one runs and rides terrific with no known mechanical problems and good looking to boot. The motor is quiet and dry, the automatic shifts perfectly and right on time and the car simply does nothing wrong except the radio is in code mode because we put a new battery in it and the power door locks are not working properly. The body doesn’t have a major dent on it and aside from the occasional nick or ding that you would expect on a car that hasn’t been detailed, a very nice looking vehicle with nice paint that looks good even in a snow storm. the front bumper is pulled a bit and ther are two screws holding the side moulding on where the sticky stuff got dry. The leather interior is in great shape with no rips or tears, nice carpets, dash and headliner, the power roof is in excellent condition with no rips or tears and the interior doesn’t smell of mildew or tobacco. Now you can buy this one now at the winter price or you can wait for a ragtop when the sun comes out and pay more but I doubt either way you will buy a nicer one so with no reserve, thanks for looking and good luck with the auction. Since eBay has decided to include history reports on all the old cars as well as the late models, there are lien records showing up on the reports. All cars have had liens on them at one time or another especially when they were newer. Our cars do not have existing liens. Administrative Fee We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However, the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee. “Prior to re-conditioning” We test drive our cars prior to offering them for sale on this auction and any faults are disclosed to the best of our ability. We do not run them through a service facility but rely on our experience to tell you what problems they may have. Our prices are generally way below the average retail values listed in the most popular pricing guides so our cars are not detailed or re-conditioned but sold in the same way they were purchased or traded. They are simply washed and put out for sale. You will not find the motors cleaned and you won’t find shiny protectorates such as “Armor-All” on them and the cars will be in their original traded condition. This allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Options such as power windows, cruise control, air conditioning etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working. Check engine lights and others will be mentioned if they are showing. We will not under any conditions guarantee the check engine lights or any dash warning lights as if they are on we will disclose this and we do not do a diagnosis to see what it is because they can come on at any time for any number of reasons so these lights are not guaranteed if they come on for you. DMV License 8614638 We are a full DMV dealership, which means we can issue temporary tags for out of state buyers and full service tag agency for PA residents, so all your paper work can be done right here when you come to pick up your vehicle. There are no hidden fees, strictly state standard DMV fees so no surprises. In-Transit Tags: If you live outside of PA and need a 30-day temporary plate, the fee is $60 and the following documentation is required by PA DMV for EACH person to be listed on the bill of sale/title: 1) a valid drivers license with your current address on it, and 2) valid proof of insurance for your current vehicle which lists the policy number and effective dates. Note: we cannot accept an insurance bill or an expired card; name and address must match the drivers license. Temporary plates are registered electronically and PA DMV strictly enforces these policies. We will not under any circumstances issue a temp tag without the required documents. Please call us if you have any questions. Payment If you are a winning bidder, kindly contact me via email immediately at the end of the auction for verification. Our requirements are that the high bidder should pay an immediate deposit of $500 via PayPal upon completion of the auction and the car should be paid in full within 7 days via cashiers check, cash if in person or money order. The deposit can also be made over the phone via MasterCard or Visa; however, payment in full cannot be made with a credit card. If payment of the car is not fulfilled within the specified time, the car will be offered for re-sale and feedback will be left accordingly. Let’s not waste each others time.
