We are offering another fine automobile out of a "Private Collection" Please read this carefully. I know this car is going to generate alot of questions. To help eliminate questions on this car please read carefully ( I am going to evaluate everything that I have seen on this car ) Offering: 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Exterior Color: Blue Metal Flake (I have never seen this color before but it really looks good on this car) Interior Color: Black (Leather like material - I would assume it is a very soft but durable vinyl) No Rips, Tears, Or Burns . . . . Engine: 396 powerplant Transmission: Automatic Air Conditioning: Yes and it seems to be working Tires: The tires are like brand new. Mileage: Is accurate on this car. Overall Condition: Consider this car "A Very Nice Driver" but "Could Be a Show Car With Very Little Work" . . . . . . . Note: In the trunk, a picture shows a chrome air cleaner. This comes with the car. There is currently a EddleBrock Carb on the engine. There is I believe the original carb in a box in the trunk. There is two radios in the car. One is located in the trunk and the other is laying in the front passenger floor area. You get both and what I could tell is that both are Chevrolet (GM) radios for that time. I am not sure if either one is the original. There seems that someone added a guage pod under the dash. I believe it works. This Chevelle SS sits in a climate controlled garage and is covered up with a car cover. The cover comes with the car. This owner has owned this car since October 2007 and has not driven it much at all. By giving a good once and two over. I noticed the exhaust is brand new. The car runs out great and it very strong in every aspect that a person expects out of a 396 SS Car. Warranty: Sold As-Is No Warranty! Damage Report: On the hood there is a paint chip about quarter sized ( located where if you were looking at the car. Standing facing where the hood, fender, top door edge, and windshild meets. In that area there is a quarter size chip in the paint. It may be a tad bit smaller than that. Picture reflects this damage. Damage Report: The headliner has a small repairable tear (picture relects the damage) if you are sitting in the passenger side seat look up a back just a bit. That is the location. Missing Parts: In the back seat there should be a armrest mounted on the driver and passenger rear seat outer areas (I do not know where therse two items are) You can see where they go with the holes for bolts but no armrests. Picture reflects this! Suggestions: I am not a Chevelle Expert. I know there are people out there that think they are experts. A little bit of knowledge. If you were not the engineer at the time when GM designed this car and you did not work at the various plants that assembled these cars. You are not a expert.
