For sale with no reserve price... 1975 HONDA CB550 with 7,669 original miles and a clean NC title. The bike starts easily and runs very well throughout all the gears. Both electric starter and kick starter work however I prefer to use the kick starter... All the electrical & mechanical components work as do the brake and suspension systems. The ignition was replaced by a previous owner because he lost the keys so a replacement key is required for the seat lock. The original exhaust system sounds terrific when accelerating & decelerating. There is a small area along the bottom seam of the left muffler where the chrome is peeling. Both tires are not original and appear to be in great shape with no ozone cracking and plenty of tread left. The right side cover was replaced by a previous owner when his original cover was lost during a ride years ago... Unfortunately, the fuel tank is dented on top (?). There's dents in the sides of the fuel tank as well where the bike once tipped over and as a result, the handlebar seems slightly bent but it's very minor and does not affect my ability to ride the bike... The chrome bits & pieces are in fantastic condition considering the age of this motorcycle. Overall, this is a very nice low mile example of the venerable CB550 Four.
